Old crow does not think the little boy fits the description of a beautiful child, but the mother is sure he will recognize her Angel’s face. Diaz’s charcoal illustrations beautifully match the folksy musical rendition.

The second book in the Letter Sound/Listen and Retell Adventure Series tells the story of Finny, a fish who wants to see the world beyond his fishbowl. The accompanying CD includes a retelling, as well as musical selections to reinforce the sound of the letter F. How Hilda hushed her hiccups is the first title in this series intended for classroom use.
