Aesop’s
Fables
The full text of each fable is accompanied by the moral
of the story. The site also includes links to lesson
plans using Aesop’s Fables. Several are available
in audio format as well.
Grimm’s
Fairy Tales
National Geographic explores the background behind
several of the brothers’ well-known fairy tales. The site
also includes additional fairy tale links and background
into the lives of the Grimm brothers.
Snow White
Children’s literature specialist Dr. Kay Vandergrift’s
site examines the idea of story, its importance to our
history and the importance of the traditional tales in
our history. The site links to several versions of Snow
